Method of Cooking
The mushroom cheese omlette is a relatively easy recipe. Chopping the veggies and getting things ready won’t take a long time. Simply begin by chopping the button mushrooms in small dices. Chop one mushroom at a time if you’ve not tried this recipe before. The bits of the mushrooms need to be diced finely. Try to make the dices as small as possible. The smaller you chop the mushrooms, the lesser cooking time it’ll take.
Now, keep these chopped mushrooms in a bowl and add the finely chopped onions, grated bell peppers and tomatoes to it. Mix the entire thing with a big spoon.
After this, take the eggs and break them gently. Now, take a large spoon and beat them well. Add a dash of salt and black pepper to add spice to your omlette. After doing this keep the egg mixture at a side.
Take a moderately sized frying pan and heat it. Now add 2-3 teaspoons of butter on it. Cook on a medium flame and let the butter melt. Right after this, take the bowl of mixed vegetables and slowly add the vegetables and the mushrooms. Add a teaspoon of refined oil and sauté the veggies and the mushroom well. Always make sure to do the sauté on a medium flame as a high flame might burn the veggies and cause them to stick together. Now add a dash of salt and pepper to make the omlette tastier. You can also add chili flakes if you want your omlette to be spicy and hot.
After doing the sauté, spread the mixture of the vegetables evenly on the frying pan. Pour the eggs on these vegetables. You will soon find that the beaten eggs are covering the mixture of the vegetables evenly. Use a spatula to make the egg spread tad more even.
Now, take a dash of butter or refined oil and drizzle it on the sides and the top of the omlette. Gently lift the base of your omlette and check whether it is browned. When it gets a golden brown hue, gently flip it with a spatula.
Let the other side of the omlette cook well. You can also add more oil or butter for better greasing. Now, when both the sides of the omlette turn brown, top it up with the diced or grated cheese. Fold the omlette evenly and cook it around 2-3 minutes more till it gets a completely brown hue. You can also flip the sides if necessary.
Well, your mushroom omlette is now ready. Serve this omlette hot and enjoy delving into its delectable taste.
